Hello

Just wondering if there was a place to find info. about sub gun competition. Specifically, which guns work best (which ones are most desirable/reliable/easy to keep up and running through a day of shooting and fouling), and any other equipment (# of mags, amount of ammo, anything else?).

Any help is appreciated

Thanks

And it all depends on how the shoot is set up. There are typically multiple classes (stock, modified, iron sights, etc) and age groups, and the course itself may dictate which gun will perform better. The Rules of Thumb apply ... in general, slower ROF subguns are more controllable so if I had my 'druthers, I would choose a Swedish K (stock), others would choose a MAC with Lage slowfire upper.

That said, the biggest unknown in the equation is the *shooter*, and not the gun. Just like in photography ... a pro photographer can make great photos with a Kodak brownie. An amateur can only make snapshots even when using a Hassleblad.

FWIW,
